James Stanley, M.D. is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Texas in Austin and his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Oklahoma and his spine fellowship at Brown University.
Serving the community of Plano, Dallas, and Kaufman Texas. Dr. Stanley specializes in the treatment of conditions and disorders of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. He has over 20 years’ experience, with interests in minimally invasive spine surgery, adult deformity, trauma, osteoporotic fractures, and disc replacement. He believes in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative approach to spine care and has the resources in place to diagnose and treat conditions of all parts of the spine.
Dr. Stanley’s goal is to get patients back to their normal lives as quickly as possible so they may resume an optimal quality of life. His patients appreciate his laid-back bedside manner as well as the personal care and attention he gives to each one of them. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Tina, and their four delightful teenagers.
