Truc Nguyen, PA-C is a certified physician associate. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Texas in Austin and his Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree at Bethel University in Paris, Tennessee. He also holds a national board certification with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Truc’s desire to pursue a career in medicine developed when he was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy, a condition that causes sudden weakness in the muscles on one side of the face. This led to his interest in the anatomy and physiology of the human body, which led to his goal of being in the healthcare field.
Outside of medicine, Truc enjoys fishing, eating new dishes, staying active and volunteering in his local community. In 2021, Truc volunteered at the IronMan, a race hosted by Saint Jude’s hospital to raise money. In addition, Truc is an involved member of the Vietnamese Health Professionals Association, always the first to volunteer for an event.
